Traveling from Delhi to Mathura in a Vistas Vibes 16-Seater Rental Urbania
On the morning of July 12th, Pawan (the driver) and Sushil (the attendant) from Vistas Vibes arrived at the pick-up location with the 16-seater Urbania an hour early. Sushil then helped the children and elders settle in comfortably. The journey from Delhi to Mathura via NH-19 and Palwal covers approximately 180 km and usually takes about 3.5 hours; however, driver Pawan wisely chose the Yamuna Expressway route. The greenery lining both sides of the highway offered a soothing experience for everyone. When hunger struck along the way, the group stopped at a food zone on the Yamuna Expressway for a meal. Afterward, the Urbania transported the entire family to Mathura. Everyone was now ready for their spiritual journey. Thanks to the comfortable ride in the Urbania, everyone felt completely energized.
First, they arrived at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple. Sushil parked the Urbania, while the family proceeded inside for darshan (worship/viewing of the deity). The family explored the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple with a sense of peace and devotion; they enjoyed some snacks from the temple shops and took photographs. After visiting the temple, everyone had a vegetarian lunch at a charitable hostel. They also purchased idols and worship materials from the temple shops. Next, they decided to visit the ghats (riverfront steps) and take a holy dip in the waters of the Yamuna. While there are many ghats in Mathura, Vishram Ghat is the most prominent; it is believed that Lord Krishna rested at this very ghat after slaying Kansa. That is why this ghat was named Vishram Ghat.
After bathing at the Yamuna ghats, we headed towards the Banke Bihari Temple. The temple was extremely crowded; it took us about an hour to get there, but after that hour of strenuous effort, we finally had the opportunity to worship at the Banke Bihari Temple. Pawan played a key role in helping the family get a quick darshan; he used a shortcut to get everyone into the temple complex faster.
After leaving there, the family visited the ISKCON Temple. The cleanliness and atmosphere of the ISKCON Temple were magnificent. After exploring the temple and taking photos, the family enjoyed a light evening meal and juice at the temple canteen. The curd drink (lassi/chaas) at the ISKCON Temple was excellent; the whole family felt truly satisfied after having it.
Next, the family headed towards Prem Mandir. In the evening light, Prem Mandir was bathed in a brilliant glow. It was a spectacular sight that made the whole family cheer with joy. They then went inside to view the temple and take photographs. It was a deeply spiritual experience, and the entire family felt a sense of peace; there was a wonderful serenity throughout the temple complex. Finally, they departed at 8:00 PM.
Return Journey
The trip was scheduled to end at 8:00 PM, but everyone felt that a single day was not enough time to explore Mathura. Everyone was delighted with the hospitality provided by Pawan, the driver, and Sushil, the attendant from Vista Vibes. They enjoyed the entire trip without feeling exhausted; even the elderly members of the group faced no difficulties. The trip concluded at the drop-off point, leaving everyone with a treasure trove of memories and photographs.
